IronMountain Solutions Inc. is seeking an Army Metering Program (AMP) Systems Administrator in Huntsville A will maintain andsupport AMP technical infrastructure that includes network hardwaredatabase and/or system software components.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing analysis on AMP system problems.
- Responsible for working with AMP system users to define problem areas dataavailability report requirements etc.
- Responsible for defining AMP system objectives and for preparing systemdesign specifications to meet user requirements.
- Responsible for analyzing various ways to derive input data to select the most appropriate process.
- Responsible for implementing AMP system design specifications.
- May define input and output file specifications including file organization.
- May be responsible for defining controls conversion procedures and systemimplementation plans.
- Assist with the hardening of systems to conform with all applicableregulations from DoD and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
- Thisincludes but is not limited to Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Requirements Guides (SRG).
- Provide Plans of Action with Milestones (POAM) as well as status updates andreports as requested.
- Analyze and resolve difficult and complicated program support deficienciesrelated to AMP.
- Conduct root cause investigations and provide recommendations forpreventative measures regarding AMP.
- Maintain existing standard operational procedure (SOP) documentation anddrafting new SOPs and other documentation as necessary.
- Support Commands Risk Mitigation Framework and Methodology and execute theCommands Risk Mitigation Framework using standardized designs related toAMP.
- Continually review and analyze current procedures to recommend andimplement administrative policies and procedures to maintain best-practiceoperations.
- Conduct analysis of completed cyber risk assessments to identify developand recommend technical and operational solutions (material and non-materialsolutions) to mitigate resolve or remove risk.
- Provide Program Management and life-cycle-cost/performance guidance mentoring and support to a variety of AMC industrial facilities andcommunications programs.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 25 pounds.
Education and General experience:
- Associate degree and ten years of relevant experience
- Experience working with and implementing AMP systems.
- Experience working with DoD
Clearance Requirements: Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance
Travel required: 25%
