Position Overview
A hospital-based Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit is seeking an experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment.
Patient Population
Common diagnoses include:
COPD
Pneumonia
Non-specific abdominal pain
Cellulitis
Chest pain (rule-out cardiac)
Required Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of MS/Telemetry experience
Active RN license
BLS & ACLS required
Epic experience required
Must live more than 50 miles from facility
Nurse-to-Patient Ratios
Days: 1:6
Nights: 1:7
Weekends: 1:8
Required Clinical Skills
MS/Telemetry nursing
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Rapid Response/Code team participation
Blood product administration
Central line & PICC line care/management
Peripheral IV insertion & maintenance
CVA and seizure disorder management
Substance withdrawal management
BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC management
Oxygen therapy & non-invasive airway support
Isolation precautions and PPE compliance
