About the Role
The DT Technician will provide technical and practical support to ensure Design & Technology lessons run safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing materials and resources for DT lessons
Maintaining workshop tools equipment and machinery
Assisting teachers and students during practical sessions
Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures
Managing stock and ordering materials as required
Supporting department exhibitions and practical projects
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as a DT Technician or similar practical support role
Knowledge of workshop tools materials and safety procedures
Organised reliable and proactive
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience within a school environment is desirable but not essential.
