What Youll Do as a Partnerships Lead

Strategic Growth & Market Leadership

  • Act as the Senior Deal Architect for regional strategic growth working with our senior leadership team as Deal Sponsors to orchestrate high-stakes opportunities across Acute Trusts Community Trusts Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and GP Federations.

  • Navigate the Political Economy of the NHS: Map and influence the complex web of stakeholders (Clinical Financial and Operational) to build multi-threaded sponsorship that remains resilient through leadership churn and policy shifts.

  • Leverage the Doccla Ecosystem: High-level orchestration of our Strategic Advisors Investors and Senior Leadership Team to create top-to-top alignment with NHS Board members.

Deal Construction & Value-Based Orchestration

  • Lead the Value-Based Narrative: Translate clinical outcomes into hard-dollar ROI. You will be responsible for shaping propositions where Docclas success is intrinsically linked to system savings and patient throughput.

  • Drive Complex Deal Sprints: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of large-scale tenders and direct awards. This includes aligning internal Product Clinical and Finance teams to ensure the deal is not just winnable but operationally and financially viable over a multi-year horizon.

  • Master Commercial Complexity: Shape the logic behind pricing models gain-share mechanisms and procurement routes (e.g. Frameworks vs. Bespoke Tenders) to ensure commercial clarity in the face of deferred payment milestones.

Stakeholder Mobilisation & Clinical Credibility

  • C-Suite Relationship Management: Maintain trusted advisor status with senior executives moving beyond a vendor relationship to a strategic partnership.

  • High-Stakes Content & Communication: Produce Board-level business cases and investment proposals that stand out for their clinical depth commercial rigor and simplicity.

Mobilisation Transition: Ensure a seamless handover of intent from contract signature to operational launch ensuring the value-based metrics agreed during the sale are embedded in the delivery roadmap.

What Experience Youll Bring to the Team

  • 5 years experience in NHS facing commercial roles (healthtech medtech consulting or services) with a track record of owning and closing complex opportunities.

  • Demonstrable experience navigating NHS structures and buying dynamics including ICB and multi provider decision making procurement IG and clinical governance.

  • Existing senior relationships in the NHS ideally across Northern systems with evidence you can open doors and create momentum quickly.

  • Strong comfort with quantitative work: building clear analysis financial cases outcomes framing and pricing models that stand up to scrutiny.

  • Experience working cross functionally to deliver ambiguous high pace workstreams not just selling a fixed product.

  • High productivity mindset including confident use of modern tools and automation to move faster and operate at scale.
