Ravago Building Solutions UK Ltd is a UK-based manufacturer and supplier of extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation known for producing the Ravatherm XPS X range used across residential commercial and industrial construction. Process Operator

(24/7 continuous shift pattern role paying 34425 p.a)
Purpose of Role
This role adds value by safely and reliably operating the Ravago Building Solutions (RBS) Kings Lynn plant within a team of employees and contractors. Directly completes both assigned and self- identified tasks. Uses problem solving skills to resolve plant problems and identify improvements that benefit customers and the RBS business.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations
Operate XPS extrusion lines and associated equipment including start up shutdown and routine adjustments.
Monitor temperatures pressures material feed and line speed to maintain product quality.
Carry out basic troubleshooting and first line maintenance on production equipment.
Complete quality checks on finished boards and record production data accurately.
Follow all safety procedures including correct use of PPE safe manual handling of materials and maintaining a clean work area.
Work with supervisors maintenance and quality teams to meet production targets.

Skills and Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred with the ability to solve problems and apply practical solutions on the production line.
GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics with fluent spoken and written English.
Higher-level manufacturing qualifications or a relevant apprenticeship are an advantage.
Able to work effectively within a diverse team and contribute to a positive safe working culture.
Physically capable of safe manual handling as part of daily duties.
Training will be provided to obtain a forklift truck licence if not already qualified

Hiring Information
This role is based on site in Kings Lynn.
This role reports to the Plant Manager RBS Kings Lynn.

Working Hours
This is a 24/7 shift-based role with a continuous rotating shift pattern. (4 on 4 off 2 days/2 nights 12 hr shifts).
Occasional cover for employee absences or in case of exceptional demand is expected
