Job Role & Key Responsibilities: The Process Reliability Engineer (Electrical) is responsible for improving the reliability efficiency and performance of electrical and control systems across site. This role focuses on reducing downtime enhancing asset performance and driving a proactive data-led maintenance culture in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead reliability improvements across electrical and control systems
Develop and optimise Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and FMEA on recurring faults
Monitor KPIs such as MTBF and MTTR to identify trends and improvements
Fault find on PLCs VSDs sensors and control systems
Support upgrades modifications and maintenance of production equipment
Drive continuous improvement using Lean / Six Sigma principles
Analyse performance data and present insights to stakeholders
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to prioritise work
Ensure compliance with health & safety GMP and food safety standards
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years experience in reliability or maintenance engineering
Background within FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing
Strong experience with electrical systems controls and fault finding
Proven ability to analyse data and improve asset performance
Experience using CMMS systems
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
Experience with high-speed production or packaging equipment
Strong understanding of RCA FMEA and reliability tools
Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
