Overview / Summary
A well-established and growing wealth management practice is seeking a Associate Advisor Asset & Wealth Management to support continued expansion within the GTA market. This opportunity is ideal for a driven client-centric advisor who combines technical planning expertise with strong relationship management and business development capabilities.
You will work with high-net-worth individuals and families delivering comprehensive financial strategies while contributing to asset growth and long-term client retention. This role offers a platform for advisors committed to building and scaling a sophisticated planning-led practice.
What Youll Be Doing
Lead structured discovery planning and review meetings with high-net-worth clients
Deliver comprehensive financial plans covering retirement tax estate liquidity and corporate structuring strategies
Integrate holding companies operating companies and family structures into holistic planning models
Coordinate with external professionals including lawyers and accountants
Contribute to asset allocation strategy and implement model portfolios
Monitor portfolio risk rebalance as required and communicate performance clearly and confidently
Support alternative investment allocations (upon licensing)
Generate consistent new Assets Under Management (AUM)
Maintain a defined prospect pipeline and convert planning engagements into managed mandates
Develop and cultivate professional referral relationships
Deepen wallet share within existing client households
Maintain exceptional CRM documentation and accurate KYC records
Uphold regulatory and compliance standards in partnership with dealer back-office teams
Track AUM growth and revenue metrics
Qualifications
Active MFDA license (mandatory at time of hire)
5 years of wealth management experience preferred
Demonstrated experience working with high-net-worth clients
Proven ability to lead client meetings and deliver structured comprehensive financial plans
Strong compliance awareness and CRM discipline
