Job Summary
Intensive Care Consortium (ICC) is seeking a PRN experienced critical care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah Candidates:Acute care certification required for NPs; 2-3 years experience in the ICU for PAsActive License in GA or ability to obtainAbility to work PRN 2-4 shifts per month mix of days and nights 12-hour shiftsHigh acuity 54 -bed ICU (26-bed medical/surgical 18-bed neuro and 10-bed cardiac ICUs)24/7 coverage 3 MDs 2 APPs plus swing shift APP and IM residents during the day/ 1 MD 1 APP plus swing shift APP and IM residents at nightAPP providers must be proficient with and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement thoracentesis intubations and management of mechanical ventilation work independently and be able to carry a minimum patient load of 8-10 patients per Package: Competitive Hourly Compensation based on Fair Market ValueW2 Employed Position100% Covered Occurrence based malpractice insurancePractice at the top of your license with meaningful autonomy supported by a highly collaborative intensivist team.A role designed for APPs who thrive in fast paced high acuity environments where advanced skills are valued.
