Position Summary:
The Construction Project Manager oversees all phases of a construction project from planning through completion ensuring the project is delivered on time within budget and in compliance with plans contracts and regulations. This role coordinates contractors consultants vendors and stakeholders while managing schedules costs quality and risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan organize and manage construction activities from start to finish
Develop and monitor project schedules budgets and timelines
Coordinate general contractors subcontractors architects and engineers
Review contracts drawings and specifications for compliance
Manage change orders RFIs and project documentation
Conduct site meetings and progress inspections
Ensure adherence to safety standards permits and regulations
Track costs approve invoices and control project expenditures
Identify risks resolve issues and communicate updates to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Residing in Maryland DC or Virginia (3-6 Months project)
Degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field preferred
Several years of construction project management experience
Strong leadership negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to read construction plans and specifications
Proficiency in project management and construction software
