Role Overview:
The Application Engineer will collaborate with R&D and technical sales teams to support the design testing validation and deployment of power electronics solutions across EV chargers EV inverters DCDC converters ACDC converters and solar charging systems.
This role bridges core design engineering and customer application support to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of power conversion systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Application Support:
- Evaluate and implement power electronics components and modules
- Support integration of DCDC converters ACDC converters EV chargers EV inverters and solar charge controllers
- Provide technical clarifications and recommend suitable solutions
2. Design & Development Support:- Assist in circuit design schematic review and PCB validation
- Perform simulations using MATLAB/Simulink PSpice LTSpice and PSIM
- Conduct component selection and performance benchmarking
- Support prototype development and testing
3. Testing & Validation:- Conduct lab testing for power conversion efficiency thermal performance switching characteristics and EMI/EMC compliance
- Troubleshoot hardware issues during validation
- Document test results and technical observations
4. Cross-Functional & Customer Coordination:- Work closely with R&D design and sales teams
- Support technical presentations and product demonstrations
- Prepare application notes and technical documentation
5. Documentation:- Develop application notes design guides technical reports and validation reports
- Maintain structured technical records
Eligibility Criteria:- Qualification:BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electronics & Communication (ECE)
- Academic Record:60% and above throughout
- Year of Passing:2023 / 2024 / 2025
Required Skill Set:- Strong fundamentals in Power Electronics
- Hands-on exposure to DCDC converters ACDC converters EV chargers EV inverters and solar charging systems
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and technical presentation abilities
