Job Purpose and Impact
The Buyer will handle organize and coordinate procurement of materials goods services and this role you will manage complex procurement processes within UK & Italy focused on transporting products from suppliers to customers conduct activities to support complex customer issues and operations quality and improvement.
Key Accountabilities
- Support procurement transactions ensuring the purchase order process completion.
- Assist more senior team members with process improvements.
- Check records and files for accuracy performing complex analysis of data.
- Lead requests for procurement of non-contracted materials and goods services and supplies.
- Assist end user and ensure material delivery follow plant requirements.
- Handle complex clerical administrative technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field (logistic supply chain) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar area: purchasing logistics supply chain or customer service.
- Practice knowledge of MS Office (Excel Power Point).
- Fluent English.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Ariba practice knowledge.
- Knowledge of additional foreign languages especially Italian.
- Experience working in virtual multi-cultural teams.
