Job Description:
- Prepares patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Operates and maintains radiologic equipment ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Assists radiologic technologists in performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Monitors patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintains patient records and ensures that all necessary information is accurately documented.
- Follows safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
Education Requirement:
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Current student ofan accredited Radiologic Technology Program preferred.
Licensure Requirement:

Certifications:
CPR certification required.
Skills:
- Ability to learn new proceduresfollow instructions and establish professional rapport with patients staff and physicians.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Experience:
Three quarters of experience as a student radiographer preferred.
