Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold an active TS/SCI clearance and work onsite at Patrick Space Force Base. This critical role involves designing developing and deploying scalable secure and cost-effective cloud-based applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Essential Functions:

Leverage substantive experience in cloud development with a strong preference for expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build robust cloud-based applications.
Ensure that the applications are scalable secure and cost-effective by utilizing the best practices and services provided by AWS.
Demonstrate familiarity with the C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments which is highly desired for this role.
Engage in daily interactions with customers to understand their requirements and provide suitable cloud-based solutions.
Prepare comprehensive architectural designs that align with the strategic goals of the organization.
Develop roadmaps to guide the implementation and evolution of cloud solutions over time.
Produce detailed documentation to support the design development and deployment processes ensuring clarity and reproducibility.
Deliver professional presentations to stakeholders articulating complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.
Adapt to support various mission areas demonstrating flexibility and a strong commitment to achieving mission success.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:

Cloud development experience with a strong preference for expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Familiarity with the C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments is highly desired.
Proficiency in designing developing and deploying cloud-based applications using AWS services.
A collaborative team player with experience working in a dynamic team environment.
Security Certification or any DOD IAT Level II Certification.
