What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including calls for assistance disruptive behavior and medical-related emergencies and/or coordinating with on-site clinical staff as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas entrances corridors parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify identification and/or authorization when required assisting with visitor direction after-hours access and controlled area entry per site procedures.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts and assist with operational tasks such as key control and lost and found handling per site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
