Sabre is seeking a talented Lead Software Engineer - UI to support the Frontend Application Development Project.
At Sabre were passionate about building software that solves this role you will plan design develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer UI/Frontend to drive the architecture design and development of highperformance user interfaces for our nextgeneration web applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in modern frontend frameworksparticularly React with Reduxand brings strong technical leadership clean coding practices and a passion for building scalable reliable and intuitive user experiences.
Technical Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers through design development code reviews and best practices.
- Own the frontend architecture ensuring scalability performance accessibility and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Product Managers UX designers and backend engineers to deliver highquality features.
Frontend Development
- Design and develop responsive highperformance UI components using React Redux and TypeScript.
- Build modular reusable UI components with clean and maintainable code.
- Implement state management with Redux Redux Thunk Redux Saga or other bestfit patterns.
- Optimize application performance page load times and rendering efficiency.
Full-Stack Exposure
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using (as needed).
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Quality & Delivery
- Drive code quality through automated testing frameworks (Jest React Testing Library Cypress).
- Ensure adherence to modern security performance and accessibility standards.
- Participate in sprint planning estimations and agile ceremonies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 years of professional experience in frontend/UI development.
- Degree in Computer Science / equivalent certifications
- Strong expertise in:
- and Redux (Redux Toolkit is a plus)
- JavaScript (ES6)
- TypeScript
- HTML5 and CSS3 (Flexbox Grid responsive design)
- development and tooling
- Strong understanding of modern build tools: Webpack Babel Vite or similar.
- Experience with RESTful APIs microservices integration and JWT/OAuth authentication.
- Ability to design scalable UI architectures and lead technical discussions.
- Strong debugging problemsolving and performancetuning skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with UI frameworks like Material UI Chakra UI Tailwind or similar.
- Familiarity with testing tools: Jest Enzyme React Testing Library Cypress.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions Jenkins).
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) cloud platforms and microfrontend patterns.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Excellent communication and stakeholdermanagement abilities.
- Strong leadership mentoring and decisionmaking capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative and innovative environment.
