As assistant to the head of the ASP (Asset Stock & Purchase) department you will perform a function that combines administrative financial and technical responsibilities.
The ASP service is attached to the IT IDS (IT Infrastructure Datacom and Security) department and provides cross-functional support services for all IT departments.
In this context your main activities will be:
- To assist the ASP manager with all matters related to people management:
- Monitoring supervision and support of team members
- First line of escalation in case of a problem or question
- scheduling management
- organizing a weekly team meeting
- monthly F2F organization
- To participate in recruitment interviews and train potential new employees
- To ensure the proper application of procedures and contribute to their continuous improvement while ensuring that complete up-to-date and structured documentation is maintained (updating archiving obsolete versions automation where relevant).
- To manage license orders in support of the team by taking over in case of overload and by independently handling complex requests requiring in-depth expertise.
- To establish KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and to be able to identify and correct anomalies in our database:
- monthly for the entire IDS department
- every week for the ASP team
- To manage small ad-hoc projects to improve existing processes whether within IT (e.g. at the database level) or in collaboration with other departments such as HR or Purchasing. From defining needs to final evaluation.
Service requirements:
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- You are a French or Dutch speaker with a good knowledge of the second national language and English.
- You have a Bachelors degree.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) as well as SAP.
- Generic knowledge in the IT field (understanding of basic terms and concepts) and good understanding of license management processes (software subscriptions renewals).
- Ability to work independently to analyze a situation to take initiatives and to adopt a solution-oriented approach.
- Good communicator with excellent team spirit
- Orientation clients
- Administrative rigor (respect for rules and procedures)
