About the role.

We are seeking a results-driven strategic leader to drive the growth and performance of our Foodservice division across Major End User (MEU) accounts and new business opportunities. This is a high-impact position responsible for securing and growing existing customer partnerships unlocking new prospects and ensuring McCain is the First Choice and dominant leader within the Australian Foodservice sector.

What youll be doing.

  • Lead coach and develop a high-performing national team to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Set and monitor strategic direction for retaining and growing current MEU accounts and acquiring new business in line with national volume Net Sales Value (NSV) and profit targets.
  • Oversee MEU customer relationships at all levels driving account management excellence and executing customer-driven business plans.
  • Lead negotiations and secure MEU customer contracts ensuring strategic outcomes for McCain.
  • Identify pursue and convert new business opportunities for McCain products across the sector.
  • Ensure acceptance and success of McCains portfolio maximizing brand presence and market share nationally.
  • Analyse sales performance monitor progress toward goals resolve business issues and ensure timely claims management.
  • Deliver quarterly and annual business reviews for MEU customers highlighting strategic and tactical achievements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and timely reporting; manage team and expense processes efficiently.

What youll need to be successful.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the Foodservice industry ideally including National Customer management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead coach and develop high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing strategic business plans and driving sustainable growth.
  • Strong relationship management negotiation and communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in business analysis financial modelling Excel PowerPoint; experienced in Salesforce and Power BI.
  • Strong commercial acumen attention to detail and project management capabilities.
  • Understanding of FMCG MEU and distributor market dynamics.
  • Bachelors degree in business preferred.
  • Commitment to the One McCain approach and active engagement in Foodservice industry networks.

About the team.

Reporting to the Head of Foodservice Australia this position leads a national team of two National MEU Managers and four State Business Development Managers (BDMs).
