Community Interactions Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services for more than 200 individuals with intellectual physical and behavioral health disabilities. Our organization is seeking an experienced Employee Training Coordinator to oversee and support organizational training compliance and certification initiatives across residential and community-based programs serving individuals with behavioral and medical complexities.

The Employee Training Coordinator coordinates and facilitates organizational training and performance initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance and workforce readiness across Pennsylvania and Delaware. Responsibilities include New Employee Orientation annual mandatory training programs certification initiatives support of licensure renewal requirements and coordination of the Employee Performance Review (90-day and annual) process. The position maintains training and performance records within the HRIS/Learning Management System (LMS) monitors compliance and prepares reports for leadership to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.

The Training Coordinator schedules and facilitates instructor-led and virtual training sessions maintains and updates training modules within the LMS to reflect current regulatory requirements tracks completion metrics and communicates with managers and staff to support timely onboarding and training compliance. The position prepares and distributes a monthly training calendar and training communications and ensures registration for required training programs.

The Training Coordinator serves as a local administrator for designated certification programs including NADSP (National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals) and NAADSP certification initiatives supporting employee cohorts through enrollment progress tracking portfolio completion and credential documentation. The position ensures proper implementation and ongoing support of all identified certification programs in alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.

This role supports a 24/7 workforce and requires a flexible schedule. Regular evening and weekend availability is required to facilitate onboarding and training for second shift and weekend staff. The position may require travel throughout Delaware and Southeastern and Central Pennsylvania to deliver training and support compliance initiatives.

The Training Coordinator collaborates with Quality Assurance Clinical Program and Human Resources leadership to align training with regulatory requirements incident trends and organizational priorities. The position administers employee surveys related to onboarding training programs and exit interviews; collates and reports survey data to leadership to support continuous improvement efforts. The role serves as a local administrator for designated certification programs supporting employee cohorts through enrollment progress tracking and credential documentation.

The Training Coordinator may be required to prepare organize and present employee training and personnel documentation during regulatory inspections licensing reviews and audits. The role also provides operational support to recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure timely entry of new hires into required training programs.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and facilitate New Employee Orientation annual mandatory training programs and designated leadership or certification initiatives.
  • Deliver assigned training programs and maintain required Train-the-Trainer certifications as applicable.
  • Maintain and update training modules within the Learning Management System (LMS) ensuring content reflects current regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Implement and update existing training materials as regulations policies or operational needs change; collaborate with subject matter experts when content revisions are required.
  • Act as consultant curriculum developer and trainer for targeted training and admissions programs and opportunities. Assists in identifying and delivering training initiatives specific to Programs and in support of individuals with Autism Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Behavioral Health and Dual Diagnosis.
  • Monitor completion of mandatory training requirements and produce compliance and training reports for leadership.
  • Oversee and administer certification programs including cohort tracking enrollment support progress monitoring and credential documentation.
  • Coordinate and track completion of the Employee Performance Review (EPR) process ensuring managers receive timely access to evaluation tools and monitoring completion deadlines.
  • Administer onboarding training and exit surveys; collate and report survey data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Under leadership of VP of Human Resources update assessment and evaluation tools to determine training program effectiveness adaptation of skills and retention of training materials.
  • Under the leadership of the VP of Human Resources collaborate with Strategic Planning Committees to execute plans and increase organizational effectiveness including identifying and developing training curricula and other initiatives to improve overall employee morale and collaboration with management and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance Clinical and Program leadership to align training initiatives with incident trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Under the direction of the VP of Human Resources facilitates and coordinates management and leadership development programs in alignment with the organizations Strategic Initiatives.
  • Prepare organize and present employee training and personnel documentation during regulatory inspections licensing reviews and audits including supports the primary point of contact for Provider Monitoring Survey OAPSA ODP 6400 Regulatory Survey other compliance surveys and all Quality Improvement Surveys throughout the State of Delaware.
  • Provide operational support to recruitment and onboarding processes as needed to ensure timely entry of new staff into required training programs.
  • Secure coordinate and schedule external trainers and vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelors Degree preferred in Human Resources or Business Administration. 2 3 years Program Management experience highly desirable. Work experience in Human Resources Training or Regulatory Compliance preferred.

Experience in Human and/or Human Services Industry supporting individuals with Autism Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Behavior Health and/or Dual Diagnosis. Prior work experience delivering Training and Compliance initiatives along with knowledge of Programs and Services preferred.

Successful candidate must be able to work outside of standard work schedule including evenings and weekends. A valid drivers license and two years driving experience and ability to provide proof of automobile insurance and vehicle registration. Strong presentation skills interpersonal problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to respond during emergencies and physically assist individuals during site visits while in the office or during training sessions and/or at residential sites.
