Job Summary
Metso USA Inc. is looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer VPA Filters to plan and prepare for field work and provide advisory services on site during installation checkout start up and commissioning. This is a remote position based out of Brookfield Wisconsin.
Required: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Electrical or Metallurgy and 5 years of experience as a mineral processing installation or Commissioning Technician OR a high school diploma and 8 years of experience as a mineral processing installation or Commissioning addition the following specific skills are required:
- 5 years (7 w/ HS Diploma) of experience performing a combination of installation troubleshooting instructing repairing process optimization and technical investigation; related activities directly associated with VPA Filter technology;
- 5 years (7 w/ HS Diploma) experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems;
- 5 years(7 w/ HS Diploma) experience operating high pressure VPA filtration systems;
- 5 years (7 w/ HS Diploma) experience preparing complex technical assessments derive logical conclusions and develop corrective actions;
- 5 years (7 w/ HS Diploma) experience with VPA Filter equipment erection techniques;
- 3 years (5 w/ HS Diploma) experience reading and interpreting general arrangement detail fabrication and assembly drawings;
- 3 years (5 w/ HS Diploma) experience Field Service reporting and job preparation;
- Ability to travel 75% of time (domestic and international);
- Ability to work remotely anywhere in the United States within an hour of a major international airport.
