Your Role at Backpack Healthcare

As a part-time PMHNP you will:

Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth

• Formulate accurate evidence-based diagnoses

Treatment Planning & Medication Management

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families

• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications

• Monitor effectiveness and adjust treatment as needed

• Provide brief supportive therapy and psychoeducation

Integrated Care Collaboration

• Partner with therapists and care teams to ensure coordinated treatment

• Participate in interdisciplinary case consultations

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain timely accurate documentation in the EHR

• Uphold all ethical and professional standards

What Were Looking For

• Masters or Doctoral degree from an accredited PMHNP program

• Active unrestricted Arizona PMHNP license & DEA

• Board Certification (PMHNP-BC)

• Experience with or passion for working with youth and families

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

• Comfort practicing in a telehealth environment
