About the Role:
Grön is looking for a Philadelphia based People & Culture Coordinator to assist with day-to-day business needs. This role is considered fixed term and expected to run through 2026 with no guarantee past 12/31/26*.The People & Culture Coordinator will provide essential administrative and recruiting support for Gröns East Coast operations. This role will be the primary point of coordination for interview scheduling phone screens onboarding logistics employee documentation and first-day experience support. You will be primarily remote with open availability to travel to on-site facilities in PA NJ and NY as needed.
*(60 days before end of year the business will evaluate continuation transition relocation or conclusion.)
In this role you will:
Recruitment & Hiring Support
- Coordinate interview scheduling with candidates and hiring managers across multiple sites
- Conduct initial phone screens for select roles
- Review resumes and assist with candidate pipeline management
- Draft and generate offer letters and hiring documentation in partnership with People & Culture leadership
- Support accurate recordkeeping in the ATS and recruiting trackers
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Manage the onboarding process from offer acceptance through start date ensuring marijuana state and federal compliance leading up to day one and beyond
- Coordinate new hire onboarding logistics including paperwork system access and onboarding checklists
- Partner with IT and Operations on badging system access and facility entry
- Ensure managers and new hires are prepared for Day 1 with clear instructions and materials
- Track onboarding completion and follow up on outstanding items
People & Culture Administrative Support
- Respond to basic employee and manager inquiries and triage to the appropriate P&C partner
- Maintain employee documentation and personnel files in HRIS
- Support process documentation and improvements for onboarding and recruiting workflows
- Assist with compliance documentation and reporting tasks as needed
Travel & On-Site Support
- Travel regularly to King of Prussia PA Hammonton NJ facilities for onboarding and operational support
- Occasional travel to Hauppauge NY location as needed
Youll be a great fit if you have the following:
- 13 years of experience in HR recruiting operations or administrative support
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable learning HRIS and ATS systems
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Based in the Philadelphia area with valid drivers license and reliable transportation and ability to travel to East Coast facilities
- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
- Experience with interview scheduling onboarding or employee administration
- Familiarity or willingness to learn cannabis industry regulations
- Detail-oriented and process-driven
- Proactive and comfortable working independently
- Service-oriented with a strong employee experience mindset
- Curious and eager to learn across recruiting and People & Culture functions
- Comfortable in a fast-paced scaling organization
