Job Summary

An entrylevel to junior role supporting the development configuration and support of API and integration services using IBM WebSphere DataPower. The role works under senior guidance and focuses on learning enterprise integration API security and middleware operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in configuring IBM DataPower services (MPGW WSP XML Firewall)
Support REST and SOAP API integrations
Apply basic security configurations (SSL/TLS certificates authentication)
Develop simple transformations using GatewayScript XSLT or XQuery
Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues in nonproduction and production environments
Work closely with senior engineers and follow established integration standards

Required Technical Skills

Basic understanding of IBM DataPower or API gateways
REST and SOAP fundamentals
XML / JSON message formats
Introductory knowledge of GatewayScript XSLT or XQuery
Awareness of API security concepts
Willingness to learn troubleshooting and support tools

Nice to Have

Exposure to IBM API Connect
Understanding of SOA or integration concepts
Docker Kubernetes or OpenShift fundamentals
Git-based source control and Jira

Experience & Profile

02 years experience in middleware integration or API development
Internship graduate or junior enterprise exposure acceptable
Strong learning mindset and attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
