As a Security Officer - TWIC Driver Patrol in Jacksonville FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a government waterfront transportation location where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support access control and visitor interactions. You will document observations communicate clearly with site staff and responders and deliver customer service with integrity. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors vendors and personnel by following Allied Universal post orders security-related procedures and site-specific policies for a government port location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings docks parking areas and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Control access at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification issuing visitor credentials as directed and monitoring inbound and outbound traffic flow.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site representatives and public emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed written reports and shift logs document incidents and/or observations and communicate key information during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA Issued TWIC is required.
• Client requires proof of HS Diploma and/or GED.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Lift Up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
