The main function of this position is to commission Honeywell control systems fire and securitycontrol systems. These control systems are engineered by Honeywell in-house engineers installed by Electrical Subcontractors and then commissioned by Honeywell Field Service Technicians in commercial buildings including office buildings schools universities airports and hospitals.
The Senior field Service Technician will work towards continuous improvement of commissioning practices specifically reducing commissioning hours per device and/or hours per system using Honeywell Operating Systems techniques.
You will report directly to the Senior Field Service Supervisorand work on-site at Fort Wainright in Fairbanks Alaska as well as support other Honeywell customers throughout the Fairbanks area. Occasional overnight stays may be required. While at Fort Wainright you will follow a Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 4:00PM or 8:00AM to 5:00PM schedule. You will be assigned a Company vehicle and a travel and expense card for business use.
In this role you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our installation operations enhance customer satisfaction and support the growth of our business by ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
