Requirements for the Manager Fire Safety PE:
The Manager Fire Safety Professional Engineer will lead the charge of regulation compliance and permitting efforts. Youll own the fire permitting process from start to finish: the digitization of regulations reviewing and stamping plans transforming manual steps into automation and leading a growing team of engineers. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of reviewing engineering plans against fire safety regulations (IFC NFPA OSHA) in industrial facilities.
Fire Safety Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
5 year experience reviewing and approving fire permits.
Expert knowledge of any of: IFC IBC NFPA.
Experience in industrial facilities (hazmat BES hydrogen) or similar industries is a plus
Experience in fire extinguishers sprinklers hydrants and exit route regulation a plus
Experience as Fire permit applicant or reviewer (at or for AHJ) accepted
Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
In person (NY) or remote role accepted.
Certification in multiple states is accepted.
Other Key Requirements:
