This recruitment is an Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) internal recruitment.ONLYapplications from current qualified OCFA Fire Captains Fire Apparatus Engineers and Firefighter personnel will be accepted.
THE POSITION
The EMS and Training Department is currently accepting applications to establish a Firefighter Evaluation Cadre. Firefighter Evaluation Cadre members will remain on their assigned schedules and work on an overtime/special assignment basis.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential functions of Firefighter Evaluation Cadre include but are not limited to:
- Facilitating and/or Proctoring the followingexams:
- California State Firefighter 1 and 2
- OCFA Firefighter Academy BlockTesting
- OCFA Probationary 6-month and 1-year testing
- Facilitating and/or Proctoring the followingexams:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- EXPERIENCE (requirements at entry/beginning of assignment):
Must be a current OCFA Fire Captain Fire Apparatus Engineer or Firefighter in good standing with at least 3 years of experience as a Firefighter with the OCFA.
