Rotating Equipment Technician

Were looking for a Rotating Equipment Technician to bring some good energy to Clarus.

Working as part of the Gas Operations team were looking for an experienced Rotating Equipment Technician who has a solid background in supporting operations and can work autonomously to ensure our transmission gas storage and renewable gas system is supported.

This role will be responsible for taking the lead with maintenance and execution of planned and breakdown repairs with a focus on our rotating equipment but also with a requirement to support general production plant maintenance as required across our operations.  Use of condition monitoring equipment is an important component of the role.

This role is based in Taranaki with travel across the motu required so youll need to be prepared to do some work outside the region.  Youll be involved in emergency response and part of the On-Call roster.

As well as being an awesome team member who brings a can do attitude and good energy to everything you do you will have a mechanical trade qualification and ideally at least 3 years experience with gas engines and reciprocating compressors. You should have a basic understanding of what is required to isolate gas plant.  Itd be great if you also have experience with gas turbines.  Applicants with condition monitoring skills or experience would be looked upon favourably.

Youll need to have strong self-management skills experience dealing with a range of stakeholders and computer savvy.  An ability to work independently as well as part of our dispersed team is important along with a full clean drivers licence.
