Position: HW Commodity Specialist III AMZ8829.18

Multiple Positions Available:
1. Develop negotiation strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with strategic suppliers pertaining to Electrical/Control sub-systems for data centers or other mission critical facilities
2. Create and execute strategic sourcing projects that will support the teams development of an end-to-end sourcing plan globally. Influence suppliers manufacturing processes technology decisions and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for both organizations by leveraging the growth of Amazons spend.
3. Negotiate and implement supplier agreements/contracts by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to reach agreement on contract terms and conditions.
4. Analyze and determine cost reduction opportunities by leveraging volumes optimizing the supplier base and reducing total cost of ownership. 5. Analyze and understand data to create accurate forecasting.
6. Lead sourcing engagements and competitive bidding (RFI RFQ and RFP). 7. Work with our team and business partners for the creation and continuous improvement of supply chain.
8. Track internal metrics for executing projects and sourcing plans.
9. Make optimal trade-offs between schedule resources and scope and apply advanced technical and business knowledge to address major risks challenges and obstacles.
10. Help develop long-term department strategies and significantly influence the cross-company project development and delivery processes and standards.
11. Domestic and international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required

Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration Operations Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related the alternative employer will accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration Operations Engineering or a related field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Must have the following experience:
1) 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and nontech teams
2) 2 years of supply chain experience
3) 2 years of program or project management experience
4) 2 years of cross-functional project delivery experience
5) 2 years of experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
The pay range for this position in Seattle WA is $147900/year to $200100/year; however base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position offered.
