Pahala sits on the southern tip of the Big Island offering a tight-knit community feel affordable living and convenient access to natures playgrounds. Here youll build relationships with patients and families who welcome you as a trusted partner in recovery. The location also provides the option to experience other parts of Hawaii or travel to various U.S. locations through our expanding program delivering exposure to diverse populations clinical settings and treatment philosophies. Youll enjoy fresh island air between shifts access to outdoor workouts and a worklife rhythm that supports continued learning and wellbeing. Role specifics: As a Physical Therapist on this travel assignment you will evaluate patients develop and implement evidencebased plans of care monitor progress adjust modalities and document outcomes in a timely compliant manner. Youll coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to set goals address functional impairments and optimize gait strength endurance and balance. Youll educate patients and families on home exercise programs injury prevention and safety strategies for daily living. The position offers professional growth through exposure to diverse clinical presentations mentorship and access to continuing education resources.
