Summary:
The qualified candidate will assist the Engineering Department in the completion of project work. Project work will entail working both with other electrical engineers and independently on small scale projects.
Duties:
- Attend Torays summer intern orientation and safety training sessions.
- Understand and follow Torays safety policies and procedures.
- Work alongside and assist other electrical engineers in the department with their project work.

- system design and cabling requirements in AutoCad to support equipment installation efforts. Oversee and support equipment installation and testing.
- Prepare weekly engineering reports to share your progress on assigned projects and verbally report high level updates during biweekly engineering team review meetings.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate will be a BSEE student entering their senior year of studies.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office products and AutoCAD
- Hands on and practical electrical experience / background a plus
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact with other Toray employees vendors and contractors.
- Ability to report on your project work and other supporting efforts in a clear and concise fashion.
Length of Employment:
- The internship is a full-time forty hour per week position
- The assignment will begin on May 26 and end on August 21
