Role:
Live Event Video Technician
Main Responsibilities:
- Setup configuration and derig of video equipment for events.
- Identifying faults and solving technical problems with the configuration of video and audio equipment.
- Operation of video equipment in pressured show environments.
- Customer liaison to assist with in the delivery of presentations or meeting functions.
- Leading crews as the representative of CT onsite.
- Demonstrate flexibility and mobility consistent with the needs of the business
- Be responsible for the safe keeping of equipment and vehicles that has been allocated to them for carrying out their duties
- Any other ad-hoc duties associated with the function of your position
Quality Management System Responsibilities
- Comply with Companys Quality Management System requirements i.e. perform your work according to your process documents procedures and maintaining document information/completing department forms/records as required.
- Understand and apply our quality policy statements in all aspects of your work.
- Contribute towards achieving company company objectives
- Ensure that the needs and requirements of companys internal staff and customers are understood and delivered.
- Help develop and improve the companys internal processes and management system by reporting corrective actions updates and improvement ideas.

Education:
- 3rd Level Qualification in IT AV Mulit-media or related Discipline or equivalent work experience.
Licences/Certificates:
- Manual Handling/Full Category B Drivers licence desirable
- Avixa Org Event Industry qualification or similar
Experience:
- Good practical knowledge of wide range of audio and video equipment and software including Barco and Analog Way switchers Powerpoint Qlab Playback Pro Yamaha digital desks Novastar and MegaPixel LED processors Panasonic AV and Blackmagic Atem Mixers.
- Careful attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- Ability to research and learn new technologies and equipment.
- 3-4 years experience working in a live event environment
