Request for Proposal (RFP) Budget Development
- Upon assignment of new ballpark and standard RFP budget requests analyze project specifications and RFP documents to determine Ergomed services required in conducting and managing upcoming client projects. Support Business Development and internal operational staff in developing a comprehensive list of questions for client.
- Schedule and lead internal strategy calls to drive the RFP budget development process and timelines.
- Produce draft budgets that accurately reflect the scope of work then consult and coordinate with business development department leaders in all functional areas and senior management to finalize according to internal feedback.
- Request quotations from Ergomed third party vendors in-line with internal Vendor Management guidelines assess quotations with business development operations and vendor management to select most appropriate vendor for each project and ensure quotations are correctly entered into the internal budget.
- Conduct a comprehensive self-QC of client/internal deliverables to identify potential issues/concerns and to ensure high quality and accuracy prior to client submission.
- Preparation of final client facing budget documents and submission to Business Development within RFP timelines.
- Timely updates of Salesforce to reflect RFP status and budget value and timely filing on internal storage systems.
- Process budget updates after initial submission for rebids and changes during final contract negotiations according to guidelines above.
- Attend project handover meetings to provide summary of key budget development specific strategies to Project Manager and operational teams.
- Mapping of Ergomed budget template activities into simple client specific budget templates
Support Department Processes/Tools
- Attend weekly Business Development and P&C teleconferences.
- Attend ongoing training and participate in the onboarding of new staff as required.
- Recommend budget template changes to the Director of Budget Development as new needs are identified or issues are discovered. Support in the maintenance and update of budget templates as required.
- Provide back-up within the Proposals & Contracts department as required.
Complete other appropriate duties in accordance with business needs and common sense
Qualifications :
Education Qualifications and Professional Experience: Ideally a bachelors degree in Finance or Business Management and demonstrated work experience in a similar posiiton.
Strong initiative to learn and ability to show creativity and out of box thinking. Ability to manage relationships and communicate with senior managers and directors. SalesForce experience is desirable but not essential. Proven ability to work well under pressure managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in all MS-Office applications including Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
