Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a unique and rewarding opportunity Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with aphasia If so we invite you to join our innovative Intensive Program of Aphasia Therapy (IPAT) team. This part-time seasonal Speech-Language Pathologist offers the chance to work intensively with adults with communication disorders in a program that is not available elsewhere.

About IPAT:IPAT is a cutting-edge language therapy program led by a multidisciplinary team with expertise in speech therapy neurology neuropsychology and biomedical engineering. Our mission is to provide innovative evidence-based treatments for aphasia in a daily intensive format that emphasizes a sense of community and well-being through functional communication.
Primary Functions:
- Conduct assessments and provide treatment for patients with acquired neurogenic communication disorders primarily aphasia in individual and group settings.
- Document care and offer education on treatment processes and counseling to patients and their support networks.
- Assist in research project testing and data management.
Ideal Candidate:
- An experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who has worked with adults with aphasia at varying levels of abilities.
- Looking for a part-time role or a passion project as a Speech-Language Pathologist this position is perfect for those currently working part-time or not working.
Preferred Schedule:
2 weeks at a time 4 times a year
Position Requirements:
- Minimum RequiredEducation:Mastersdegree
- Minimum RequiredExperience: 1year of experience
- Preferred Experience:Medical speech-language pathologist at least 3 years of experience
- Certification Required:WI speech-languagepathologist license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
