Vishay Dale Electronics Columbus NE is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.

Job Summary:

The CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining the CAPA system within a manufacturing or quality-focused organization. This role ensures timely investigation documentation and resolution of quality issues customer complaints and non-conformances.

What you will be doing:

• Production support of assigned product line.
• Open update and close CAPA records following company and regulatory procedures.
• Assist with root cause investigations and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Track CAPA due dates and notify champions of delays.
• Ensure CAPA documentation meets internal and external standards.
• Provide CAPA records and data during audits when requested.
• Update CAPA metrics and assist with monthly reporting.
• Work with manufacturing engineering and quality teams to help resolve issues.
• Attend CAPA review meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks.
• Help generate CAPA trend reports to support issue tracking.
• Follow compliance requirements for IATF 16979 ISO 9001 and OEM-specific standards.
• Support CAPA training by sharing materials and helping onboard new team members.
• Assist with risk management activities such as updating FMEAs and documenting mitigation actions.

What you will bring along:

• Associate degree in business and admin. Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering preferred
• 2 years experience managing CARs
