Job Summary
Based in our Apia Samoa office and reporting to the Customer Service Manager you will play a key role in driving excellence across our operations.
Heres what youll do:
You will support sea and air freight customers by delivering efficient accurate and professional service across the full booking and documentation process. In addition you will learn how to:
- Provide daily customer service support for sea and air freight
- Prepare accurate rate quotes and provide up-to-date schedule information
- Manage end-to-end booking processes
- Handle cargo procedures
- Update bookings and arrange transport
- Process import/export documentation including Bills of Lading Waybills and Airway Bills
- Receive and process payments
- Assist with general operational support across the team
You will be trained across multiple functions this is a role for someone who is really looking to get their foot in the door in the freight industry. Therefore your positive attitude and enthusiasm are your biggest attributes!
Qualifications :
Heres what youll bring to the table:
- 2 to 3 years of secondary school education with a diploma considered an advantage
- Enthusiasm and a strong willingness to learn
- Initiative and eagerness to get stuck in
- Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
- Industry experience would be considered an advantage but is not essential
The successful candidate may be subject to undergo a Police Check and/or Pre-Employment Drug Test.
