Job Summary
Symbos is seeking an experienced Video Editor to support the creation of highperforming paid social content across Meta and TikTok. This role sits at the intersection of creative execution and performance working closely with creative strategists designers and producers to turn briefs and raw footage into edits that convert.
This is a handson role suited to someone who understands how pacing structure and clarity directly impact results in paid social environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce direct response video content for paid social platforms primarily Meta and TikTok
- Translate creative briefs into clear compelling edits in collaboration with strategists and designers
- Cut shortform and midlength social videos with a strong focus on pacing messaging and conversion impact
- Optimise content for platformspecific formats trends and best practices while maintaining brand alignment
- Iterate quickly based on performance insights testing feedback and creative learnings
- Manage multiple edits efficiently in a fastpaced production environment
About You
- Minimum three years experience editing digital or advertising video content with a portfolio demonstrating performancedriven outcomes
- Strong understanding of Meta and TikTok ad formats trends and what drives engagement and conversion
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects experience is beneficial
- Experience editing both UGCstyle content and polished branded creatives
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with crossfunctional teams
- Strong attention to detail with sound storytelling and visual judgement
- Clear communicator who is open to feedback and iteration
Nice to Have
- Experience with animation or motion graphics
- Audio editing or sound design capability
- Exposure to AIpowered or automated editing workflows
