As part of our continued growth we are looking for a Product Engineering Intern.

Renesas Electronics is a leading provider of integrated circuits for a wide range of applications including smartphone automotive computing & storage and the IoT. Company headquartered in Tokyo with a global sales R&D and marketing organization.

As part of our Internship program continued growth we are offering the Fixed term Product Engineering Internship position for students during summer vacation.

Product Engineer ensures manufactured integrated circuits meet all necessary requirements before they reach the customer. You will be involved in variety of cross functional tasks to ramp up and sustain mass production of Mixed-signal and Power integrated circuits for industrial and automotive markets.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze production and test data identify yield losses and/or potentials
• Communication with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues
• Take part in yield enhancement and Failure Analysis activities
• Hold lot disposition based on technical assessment of test data
• Support product qualification (HTOL bHAST ESD LU etc.) and electrical parameter assessment (Characterization)
• Learn applicable standards and internal quality procedures

Qualifications :

Must be currently enrolled full time in a university degree program pursing a bachelors or masters degree.  3rd year or higher. Must not have graduated before September 2026.

• Basic knowledge of Analog and Digital Electronics
• Basic programming skills (Python C# VBA R or similar)
• Basic knowledge of Statistical Data Analysis techniques
• Intermediate English both written and spoken
• Good communication skills and positive attitude
• Fast learner

Additional Information :

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $29.75/hr - $41.50/hr. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that the final offer amount including any applicable bonuses will be dependent on geographic location relevant experience and skillset of the candidate.
