Maintenance Technician, Environment Testing

Schedule is Mon-Fri 7:30am -4:30pm.  Overtime as needed.  Compensation is $19-21/hour plus benefits.

Eurofins Environment Testing is looking is looking for a  Maintenance Technician in our  Derry New Hampshire laboratory.  This position will perform a variety of janitorial and maintenance duties in support of laboratory operations. Assists in shipping and receiving as needed.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Removes trash and recyclables from all laboratory areas daily.
• Separates recyclable trash into appropriate bins.
• Performs daily maintenance activities.
• Stocks all copy machines with paper daily.
• Serves as a back-up for shipping and receiving department
• Prepare bottle kits with chemicals as needed
• Drive to client sites to pick up samples Tuesday - Friday morning
• All other duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• High school Chemistry or Biology coursework  a plus
• Basic laboratory experience a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills and relate well to people in direct communication
• Consciousness of and a positive attitude toward quality service and safety procedures
• Hazardous Waste training will be provided
• Material training will be provided.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Must have a valid US drivers license without recent incident.  Will drive company provided vehicle.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement including the ability to read write and speak in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned
