Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by repairing and maintaining machinery equipment and building systems within our manufacturing facility. This full-time position is Monday through Thursday 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.


Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot repair and maintain production machinery mechanical systems and facility equipment using hand power and precision tools.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and complete maintenance work orders.
  • Read and interpret diagrams manuals and specifications to identify and correct issues.
  • Inspect and test equipment for performance; dismantle and replace defective parts as needed.
  • Operate shop tools (e.g. drill press grinder) to fabricate or modify repair parts.
  • Maintain facility structure and support general building repairs.
  • Monitor work performed by outside contractors and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Initiate purchase orders for replacement parts and supplies.
  • Follow all housekeeping safety and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions and schematics.
  • Flexible and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
  • 35 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with electrical plumbing HVAC and equipment repair strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to stand walk climb kneel and lift up to 50 lbs. (frequently up to 100 lbs.)
  • Requires close and distance vision color perception and depth perception.

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing setting with moderate noise levels and heat exposure.
  • Required PPE includes safety glasses and hearing protection; additional PPE may be needed for specific tasks.
