Nursery Room Leader Up to 32000
Our clients setting has been designed to feel calm organised and genuinely child-focused. The nursery combines well-equipped indoor rooms with daily outdoor access embedding the EYFS into practical play-led learning.
As Room Leader you will take responsibility for leading your room ensuring high standards of care and education while supporting and guiding your team.
Before You Apply
- This role requires a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum).
- You must have recent experience working in a nursery setting ideally with room leadership or senior practitioner responsibilities.

What Youll Need

- Strong working knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Recent experience within an early years setting

- Paediatric First Aid certification
What Youll Do
- Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room
- Plan and oversee structured EYFS-aligned activities
- Support mentor and guide practitioners within the room
- Act as key person for a group of children ensuring high-quality observations and assessments
- Monitor learning records and ensure planning reflects individual development needs
- Maintain safeguarding health and safety and regulatory compliance standards
- Work closely with management to maintain consistent practice across the nursery
- Build strong relationships with parents communicating clearly about progress and wellbeing
