Position Summary and Qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach assigned undergraduate courses in Exercise Physiology and related areas.
• Develop and deliver lectures laboratory activities and course materials aligned with departmental learning outcomes.
• Prepare and administer assignments examinations and assessments.
• Provide timely grading and constructive feedback to students.
• Maintain regular office hours and respond to student communication in a timely manner.
• Submit mid-semester and final grades by the designated deadlines.
• Collaborate with course coordinators and full-time faculty to ensure consistency and academic quality.
• Attend occasional departmental meetings as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

• Masters degree in Exercise Physiology Exercise Science Kinesiology or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Demonstrated academic or professional expertise in the subject area to be taught.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Exercise Physiology Exercise Science Kinesiology Sports Science or related field.
• Prior college level teaching experience.
• Experience with laboratory based instruction and exercise testing equipment.
• Professional certification such as ACSM NSCA or a related credential.

Appointments are part-time and contingent upon departmental need and enrollment.
