Job Summary
Job Title: Classroom Teacher
Grade(s) and Subject: PreK-Kindergarten
Reports To: Principal
Term: 10 months
Job Overview:
This is apool postingfor PreK-Kindergarten opportunities within Haywood County Schools. By applying to this posting you express interest in being considered for future openings for the (2026-2027) school year as they become available. District needs positions may be full-time part-time or temporary.
JOB GOAL:Work with students to help them learn concepts in science mathematics language arts and social studies. Assist students in applying concepts they have learned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING:
- Bachelors degree or higher.
- Hold appropriate Tennessee certification license.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Effective decision-making and verbal and written communication skills.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide an instructional program that is differentiated.
- Create a secure classroom climate.
- Analyze data and adjust your lessons accordingly.
- Plan develop implement and monitor student success as your goal.
- Use available technology in your lessons.
- Communicate effectively with parents and students.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Principal.
