Job Description
As a Security Officer - Security Dispatcher in Savannah GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As a Dispatch officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location you will coordinate security-related response and communications track patrol activity and help maintain smooth site operations. You will support access control and badge activity document incidents and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. Our agile reliable and innovative team delivers through teamwork and acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control requirements at an aerospace and defense location.
- Operate the dispatch function by monitoring radios phones alarms and/or video systems; document activity and route calls for service to on-site personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; coordinate notifications and support emergency response activities per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including interior and exterior perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
- Complete detailed reports and logs issue visitor and contractor credentials as directed and communicate post status updates to supervision and/or client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 1 years law enforcement experience OR 2 years security supervisor/manager experience OR 3 years security experience.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
