Position Overview

Were searching for a Manager- Software Engineering to join our Epic Engineering team in Bengaluru location. To keep us headed in the right direction were looking for people who understand winning is a team sport who value and seek to learn from our teams diverse experiences and backgrounds who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers and who can at any given time step back to laugh and have some fun.

What Youll Do

Design develop and maintain web applications for backend development and ReactJS for frontend development.
Work on all phases of the development lifecycle including requirement gathering analysis design coding testing and deployment.
Collaborate with product managers designers and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Ensure code quality by writing clean maintainable and efficient code. Follow best practices in coding testing and deployment.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for code and design.
Lead mentor and develop a team of 8-9 engineers including Software Engineers Senior Software Engineers and QA professionals.
Build a high-performing team culture focused on ownership engagement and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance reviews provide coaching and support career development for team members.
Foster strong collaboration with Product Management Architecture and cross-functional teams.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends and best practices
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Education: BE B. Tech M. Tech MCA MSC
8 yearsof software engineering experience including23 yearsin people management.
Proven experience leading teams working onmicro frontend and microservice architectures.
Strong backend development skills withREST API design and developmentexpertise.
Handson experience with C# / .NET ReactJS TypeScript / JavaScript SQL Server
Strong understanding ofdistributed systemsandmodular architecture patterns.
Experience working inAgile Scrumenvironments.
Excellent crossfunctional collaboration skills.

You may have other skills including

Experience withmicro frontend frameworks and design patterns.
Familiarity withGit Jira Confluence and CI/CD tools (Jenkins Azure DevOps GitHub Actions).
Experience buildingcloudnative applications(AWS or Azure).
Knowledge ofDocker and Kubernetes.
Experience ininsurance technologyorSaaS products.
Background in scaling teams inglobally distributed environments.
