Job Summary
Were building a modern global B2B2C e-commerce platform for a multi-brand multi-region portfolio. As Product Owner you will drive the strategy roadmap and delivery of our ecommerce platform which has two main focus areas B2B shops for our partners and D2C Storefronts for industrial end-customers. The Product Owner will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design information technology engineering and marketing and regional stakeholders in a matrix organization while ensuring global scalability high reliability and robust governance.
This role is ideal for someone who has scaled whitelabel/multi-tenant commerce solutions harmonized requirements across regions and brands and delivered measurable business outcomes in complex industrial environments (ERP/CPQ/OMS integrations and user experience).
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision strategy and multiyear roadmap for the B2B2C platform across brands and regions
- Develop and prioritize the product backlog ensuring alignment with product strategy and business value.
- Work directly with our development team and participate actively in SCRUM ceremonies providing clear direction and acceptance criteria for the development team.
- Collaborate closely with design information technology engineering marketing and other stakeholders to deliver successful product outcomes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure product development aligns with overall business goals and strategic objectives for the e-commerce platform.
- Collaborate closely with technology teams in engineering marketing and IT to align on global roadmaps and leverage work provided by other teams.
- Conduct market research and drive discoveries to identify opportunities and optimize unmet needs within the platform.
- Drive continuous product discovery and validation through user research experimentation and feedback loops.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on product launches and go-to-market strategies for new features.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Computer Science or a related field.
- 4 - 8 years in product ownership/management for digital commerce with B2B and D2C experience; industrial/manufacturing domain strongly preferred.
- Experience integrating with ERP (e.g. SAP/Oracle) CPQ PIM OMS/WMS CRM (e.g. Salesforce) payments tax/fraud and shipping/3PL.
- Proven delivery of whitelabel/multitenant or multibrand commerce solutions at global scale.
- Extensive experience working in agile environments particularly SCRUM and a solid understanding of agile principles.
- Experience in managing and prioritizing product backlogs user stories and effectively translating business needs into actionable requirements.
- Familiarity with digital service technologies platforms and market trends within relevant industries.
- Proficiency with product backlog management and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira Confluence).
- Headless e-commerce platform experience desired.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Willingness to travel about 10%-15% of the time mostly EMEIA.
