About the role
The Carer Recruitment and Development (CR&D) Worker is a specialist role within MacKillops Foster Care Development team. The positions main responsibilities are the recruitment and retention of carers across WA. This includes marketing and attraction activities child safety compliance carer assessments and carer support and development. The WA CR&D Worker reports to WA/NT Manager with guidance from the National Leader Foster Care Development and will work collaboratively with the WA Out of Home Care program.
The Carer Recruitment and Development Worker will assist in the development and implementation of a clear strategic plan to attract recruit develop and retain foster carers ensure carer compliance systems are working effectively and strictly adhered to throughout the recruitment and authorisation process actively work with the Out of Home Care team to ensure compliance is maintained and meets MacKillop and Department of Communities Standards facilitate carer training and assessments ensure the maintenance of Family Journey (MacKillops Client Management System) to ensure all carer activity can be regularly monitored and analysed.
This is a Full-Time opportunity based in West Perth WA within our National Foster Care Development program. The position reports to the Manager WA/NT.
