Summary:

As a Barback at P.S. Speakeasy you are the foundation of the bars success. You support bartenders by ensuring the bar is immaculately stocked organized and cleanbefore during and after service. This position requires stamina attention to detail and a strong work ethic along with pride in maintaining high standards in an upscale environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Support bartenders by keeping the bar fully stocked with glassware ice garnishes spirits mixers and supplies
Wash sanitize and properly store glassware bar tools and service items
Maintain a clean organized and efficient dish and bar support area
Monitor inventory levels and proactively restock throughout service
Assist with opening and closing bar setup and breakdown
Remove trash recycling and empty bottles during and after shifts
Clean and store floor mats and maintain back-of-house cleanliness
Expedite clean glassware and tools to the bar during peak service
Follow all sanitation safety and company standards
Assist with additional tasks as assigned to support smooth service flow

Requirements

Requirements:

Prior barback steward dishwasher or back-of-house experience preferred (but not required for the right candidate)
Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced high-expectation environment
Physical stamina with the ability to lift move and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time
Willingness to work evenings weekends and late nights
Team-oriented mindset and professional attitude
