We are currently looking for Traffic Control Flaggers members in MN!

Q3 Contracting is seeking reliable and safety-focused Traffic Control Flaggers to join our team. Traffic Flaggers play a critical role in maintaining a safe work environment for crews and the traveling public by directing traffic through construction and work zones.

Responsibilities:

• Control the flow of vehicular traffic through construction zones using stop/slow paddles and 2-way radios
• Set up and take down traffic control devices (cones signs etc.)
• Communicate clearly with crew members and the public
• Remain alert and attentive to changing traffic and work zone conditions
• Follow all company safety policies and state/local traffic control regulations
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately

Qualifications:

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Excellent communication skills
• MnDOT or ATSSA flagger certification preferred (in-house training)
• Previous flagging experience is a plus but not required

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand and remain alert for extended periods
• Work in heat cold wind and rain
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Travel is scheduled based on workload and location.

Compensation: $25.80/hour based on union scale
