As a Security Officer - Unarmed Vehicle Driver Patrol in Orlando FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license and compliance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and directing inquiries to the appropriate contact.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor alarms cameras and/or entry systems as assigned and report maintenance or access issues through the appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner initiating emergency response activities per post orders and requesting assistance as needed.
• Document shift activity incidents and/or observations in reports and logs and communicate key information during shift transitions to support consistent security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
