Job Description Summary
We are looking for a Sales Leader covering the whole Europe & Sub-Saharan Africa region for Grid Automation (GA). The Europe & SubSaharan Africa (SSA) Sales Leader is accountable for driving Orders Commercial Margin (CM%) and pipeline growth across the region. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to the regional sales organization and defines and executes the gotomarket strategy for the full GA portfolio. The Sales Leader will build upon the GA Core offering and will have a strong focus on softwaredefined and digital solutions like; Zonal Autonomous Control Distribution Automation Integrated Digital Substations EnergyAPM Device Management Cyber security Top-Down Engineering and Virtualization.
The role operates in close collaboration with Regional Cluster P&L leaders to build the Commercial & Sales strategy and Global Grid Automation leadership teams to accelerate growth win complex utility and infrastructure opportunities and strengthen our market position across mature and emerging markets. You will coordinate with ESW Sales & Commercial population to actively promote joint GA & ESW commercial actions workshop and customer visits.
Job Description
Own and deliver Orders Commercial Margin (CM%) and forecast accuracy for Grid Automation across Europe & SSA.
Define and execute the regional sales strategy including gotomarket approach key account plans and channel strategy.
Lead the pipeline management process ensuring sufficient opportunity volume quality and visibility aligned with budget and growth objectives.
Drive the strategy and execution for large complex and strategic deals
Lead sales coverage of the full Grid Automation portfolio with a strategic emphasis on Grid Beats softwaredefined and digital solutions
Actively promote innovation adoption and portfolio transformation within utility and infrastructure customers.
Provide functional leadership to the regional sales population across multiple countries cultures and languages.
Establish a strong operating rhythm (pipeline reviews forecast calls deal reviews performance management).
Serve as the primary Grid Automation sales and commercial interface within the Europe & SSA region.
Interface with other Grid Solutions business lines to drive crossportfolio collaboration and synergies.
Lead and coordinate joint commercial initiatives with Energy Software (ESW)including:
Joint opportunities and pipeline development
Customer workshops and executive engagements
Integrated GA & ESW value propositions
Maintain a dottedline reporting relationship to the Global Grid Automation Sales Leader.
